Aragon here we come

On the 14th of September,  my brother Paul and I are off on a boys trip to Spain. There'll be no need to pack our budgie smugglers though, for this is a bike trip to watch bike racing, MotoGP to be specific. I made the same trip in 2019. Since then, the world became a very different place and until now, there's not been a chance to get away. We've done a few MotoGP trips before, the last being to Le Mans, back in 2018, I think. This will be a new circuit for Paul. Hopefully, it will still be plenty warm and we'll avoid rain on the plain. I'll be packing the sun cream anyway.

Ginny had a wash yesterday, the first in over 3 months. She was still covered in dirt and dust from the Italy tour, as there's just been no time, what with moving into a new house, to do it before. I wasn't sure I'd be able to, with parts of the country under hosepipe bans, due to drought but our water authority hasn't imposed one yet, so out came the pressure washer.  Our new house is a new build and we're living on a building site, so there was loads of building dust to add to the tour dirt. All cleaned up, I've put the cover on, to keep her that way for the next fortnight. What's the odds it's raining on 14th?

We'll be away for 8 days, Wednesday to Wednesday. With a couple of stops on the way down, we arrive in Aragon on Friday. Saturday and Sunday we'll be at the circuit, then we have another couple of stops on the way back.

So that's the lowdown. Obviously, there'll be more updates, so make sure you are subscribed to this blog.

Till next time.
