Adventures have been a little thin on the ground since the Aragon trip, certainly as far as biking is concerned. The most important thing to happen in my life since then, has been the birth of my second grandchild, a granddaughter, Ivy. She was born in October. 😍
On the biking front, I've done nothing since wheeling Ginny into the garage when I got back from Spain. She's not turned a wheel since, not even to come out of the garage for a clean and I SORNed her in November. She'll be re-taxed in March, serviced and MOT'd. All that in preparation for the first trip of the year, a trip over to Vimy in France and the Canadian Memorial, for the memorial service they hold each year. I shall be going with my brother and a biker chum of his, Phil. Paul and Phil went to the Czech Republic (Cechia) together last year. It's fair to say Phil is a fairly keen biker, so no surpise he's said he'll come. He's also a Gooner and has ridden from his home in Cheltenham for a few games over winter. That's dedication for you.
The trip will be a day trip, catching the P&O ferry early doors and returning early evening. All this takes place on Sunday 9th April, Easter Sunday. Fingers will be crossed that we get some good Easter weather but you never know how the chips will fall. I've got some new kit, so should be ok, whatever the weather does.
I have nothing else planned adventure wise as yet, apart from the Wild Hogs Tour of Europe, you may have read about on its own blog but I have a lot of places on my 'places to visit' list, so who knows when I might throw my leg over again.
More in April.
